Druze village that was abandoned during the 1967 war, Golan Heights, Israel.Barbed wire is common in this area.I still find it hard to comprehend that these ruins are not remnants of an ancient civilization, but reminders of a community that called this compound home just over 50 years ago.
Thanks to this week’s photo challenge for reminding me of this recently abandoned part of history.
